Review
There’s not a Trader Joe’s in Roanoke, which many people have been complaining about for years. Fortunately, we travel enough to where it always seems like we’re visiting a town with a TJ’s every month or so. One of the things I love to get is the Trader Joe’s 5 Layer Fiesta Dip.

This Mexican dip is the perfect appetizer for parties and also serves as a great snack. You can serve it with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables as the flavors work well with either one. It’s also really good on top of a taco salad. The guacamole isn’t overpowering and the salsa is pretty mild so it’s a combination of things that aren’t too extreme for anyone.

I’ve never tried it but I’d think this dip would also be great as a topping for quesadillas or tacos. Lots of people think it’s worth it to take the time to make your own dips. When they taste as good as Trader Joe’s 5 Layer Fiesta Dip, why bother?
