Rotisserie Turkey Breast
Rotisserie Pork Loin
Ground Hot Peppers
This sandwich is packed with flavor. The girl at deli counter in The Fresh Market was extremely generous with the portions and my sandwich was tough to pick up because of the huge slices of turkey and pork that were in it. As always, the meat had great flavor and wasn’t overcooked at all. Then, the sandwich also had the salty notes from the pepperoni, sweetness from the red onion and green peppers, and the spice from the ground hot peppers. It was like I was having a sandwich from an Italian market on Mott Street in Little Italy in New York City.
The Little Italy Combo was so big that I ended up eating half of it for dinner that night and then ate the other half for lunch the next day. It was cold when I ate it the second day, but it might have tasted even better then because it gave the flavors time to marinate together into an Italian symphony of flavor.
Molto bene, Fresh Market. Molto bene.
