Top 3 Tuesday - Food Blogs to FollowSnickers Cake
However, that doesn’t mean I’m not a big fan of food blogs. I think I’m the only guy I know who enjoys reading different food blogs but there are a few that are particularly awesome that have some amazing recipes, which I then send to my wife hoping that she’ll make all these things.
My wife has her own blog where she shares about her baking adventures. It's called Seven Ate Nine and she posts about recipes, restaurants and different products she reviews. I encourage you to stop by her blog and leave a comment or two.
Today’s Top 3 Tuesdays post features three awesome food blogs that I highly recommend checking out.
1. How Sweet It Is
This is one of my favorite food blogs out there. It’s written/managed/maintained/operated by Jessica and I think she’s from the Pittsburgh area (I don’t know for sure but I think she’s mentioned that.) She takes incredible photos and is a hilarious writer and all of her food looks incredible! Whether you want to make milkshakes, pizza, burgers, salads, sandwiches, breakfast, or any other meal, Jessica’s got you covered. How Sweet It Is features some awesome recipes and they’re presented in a fun way.
2. Brown Eyed Baker
I don’t know how but Brown Eyed Baker seems to be a blog that features all my favorite foods. This blog is operated by Michelle and she also lives in Pittsburgh. I don’t know what it is with these food bloggers from Pittsburgh but they’re awesome. A recipe from Brown Eyed Baker was the inspiration for the Snickers Cake that a friend made me for my birthday this year, and that alone puts this blog on the list of my favorites. I also like that Michelle occasionally includes some sports-talk in her posts.
3. Cannella Vita
Cannella Vita is an amazing blog that’s written by Erica. She writes great content, takes amazing pictures, and features some wonderful looking food. Most impressive is that she does all this while still being in high school. Erica’s blogging puts mine to shame. I really like her recipe showdowns, which is when she’ll compare different recipes for a particular food to see which one is the best. This inspired my wife to do the same thing with blueberry muffins. And anyone who inspires my wife to make dozens of blueberry muffins is a friend of mine.
