This season, Duke won’t play its first true road game until January 4 against Notre Dame in South Bend, which is also the team’s conference opener. Assuming the Blue Devils play the maximum amount of games in the Preseason NIT, they will have already played 13 games before the first road game.
Does this scheduling hurt the program? Would Duke benefit more from playing games on the opponent’s home court?
