The No. 5 Blue Devils will head to the Dean Dome to take on a North Carolina team that’s currently riding a seven-game winning streak and playing its best basketball of the season. Duke enters with a 21-5, 10-3 record and still has the possibility of finishing atop the ACC regular season standings after Syracuse’s loss to Boston College last night.
It may not have seemed like it earlier this season with the way the Tar Heels were playing, but Duke will have its hands full this evening. Most sports books have Duke listed as a 2-point favorite, which isn’t much for the No. 5 team in the country facing an unranked opponent.
This will also be Duke’s third game in the past week, and another one looming this Saturday. It will take a strong performance to keep the winning streak going against North Carolina.
