Top 3 Tuesday: Best Soft Serve
3. Jason's Deli - Wellington, FL
I don't know what's special about the chocolate soft serve at the Jason's Deli in Wellington, FL, but it's different than any other Jason's Deli I've been to. I'm usually not a fan of the chocolate at Jason's Deli, but this location did something to make their chocolate soft serve extra rich and creamy, giving it a texture that was similar to a cold chocolate mousse. There's something secret and amazing about this stuff.
2. Twistee Treat - Orlando, FL
One of the best ways to cool off on a hot, summer day in Orlando is by finding some great ice cream. Twistee Treat has multiple locations in the Orlando area and you can usually recognize them by the building, which is the shape of an ice cream cone. It's the type of place that fits any summer vacation. The flavors are simple - chocolate, vanilla, & strawberry - but they're all delicious. My personal favorite is the chocolate-vanilla swirl.
If you've read my review on the Big Gay Ice Cream Shop, you know I'm a big fan. This small shop in Manhattan serves some incredibly unique and tasty flavors with a certain amount of flair that makes it a one-of-a-kind experience. The American Globs with chocolate ice cream was the best, creamiest soft serve I've ever had. It was chocolate ice cream coated in chocolate that was dipped in pretzels and sea salt. It's happiness in a cone.
