Top 3 Tuesday - Best Milkshakes
In honor of today being Tuesday, here are the three best milkshakes I've had. In making this list, I've become aware of my chocolate - peanut butter addiction.
1. Peanut Butter Oreo Milkshake - Annapolis Ice Cream Company
If you haven't had peanut butter oreos, you're missing out on one of the great experiences in life. It's like tagalong girl scout cookies but it's even better because you don't have to pay $9 for a box of three cookies. Troll on, Girl Scouts.
The Annapolis Ice Cream Company in Downtown Annapolis had the genius idea to take these fantastic oreos and use them to make peanut butter oreo ice cream. Then, they had the even BETTER idea to use said ice cream to make peanut butter oreo milkshakes.
The Peanut Butter Oreo milkshake a thick, rich milkshake packed with the incredible combination of flavor of peanut butter and oreos. These people deserve a Nobel prize.

2. Chocolate Peanut Butter Quakeshake - Ghirardelli Ice Cream Company
Based on my experience of being a former Ghirardelli employee, I'm actually quite experienced with the process of making quakeshakes.
The difference between a "Quakeshake" and a regular milkshake at any Ghirardelli soda fountain is that the quakeshakes include an entire Ghirardelli bar of chocolate. Not the little squares they give you as a sample when you walk in to the store. A full-sized bar of chocolate. The filling (peanut butter, caramel, mint, raspberry, etc.) of the bar you order determines what type of quakeshake it is.
I have no idea how I don't weigh 4,000 pounds.
3. Chocolate Truffle Shake - Relish
Disclaimer - I haven't been to this place in a few years so I have no idea if it's still good.
However, when we lived in West Palm Beach a few years ago, I remember getting an amazing Chocolate Truffle Milkshake at Relish. It's a restaurant that features gourmet burgers and toppings and specialty milkshakes. And based on the prices from the online menu, it's incredibly overpriced. $7.00 for a milkshake? WHHHHAAAATTTT????!!!!
That being said, the Chocolate Truffle Shake was great. It was a rich, velvety chocolate that was dusted with cocoa powder and even included a chocolate truffle on top. It reminded me of taking a handful of Lindt Chocolate Truffles and blending them into a milkshake. Who knows? Maybe that's exactly what they did.
Honorable Mention: Coconut Cream Pie Shake at Sonic and Peach Milkshake at Chick-fil-A.
